NATIONAL SISTERS DAY – First Sunday in August

National Sisters Day on the first Sunday in August is your chance to show your appreciation for that unique bond only sisters can understand. All siblings have the odd argument here and there, but deep down there’s little way around the natural connection between siblings. Cherish the memories and make plans to create new ones.  Reconnect or patch up any misunderstandings.  Sisters are forever.  Take a look at how we unite as SISTERS!

HOW TO OBSERVE
Make this day a special celebration with your sister. If you don’t have a sister, you can still celebrate the friendships of sisterhood by having a girls’ night out! Post on social media using #NationalSistersDay to encourage others to do the same.
She teases you, supports you and is somehow your best friend and worst enemy simultaneously. She's your sister.
Sunday is National Sisters Day, an observance with no clear origin but an obvious goal: celebrate sisterhood. Whether you and your sis are like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Anna and Elsa or John and Joan Cusack, Sunday is a time to reconnect. Pick up the phone, meet for lunch or send a greeting card to let your sibling (or best gal pal) know you're thinking about them.                                                                                                                 HAPPY SISTERS DAY TO EVERYONE: BE IT BLOOD SISTERS, SL SISTERS OR SORORITY SISTERS, THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A SISTERLY BOND!!!!!
