Relay for Life Recap

Greetings everyone! First and foremost a big congratulations goes out to my soro Eta Sigma Delta! We raised a total of  $100,145L!!! Ladies we did that...Ooooooop! You ladies worked hard and it really paid off. I am especially proud to be  a part of this sisterhood, not just now but always!! We rock!!

We started this relay for life campaign with a Tango for a cure! This was a very fun event where you could come out and show off some of your dancing skills, I don't know about anyone else but i had a blast dancing the night away with my good buddy. The music was awesome. DJ Kilolo did her thang!

Our next event was for them rootin tootin cowboys and cowgirls! lol Lasso for a cure! There were lots of activities to do at this event, a dunking tank, bull riding, and a kissing booth to name a few. This event was also alot of fun, we had sisters who had to be put in jail for misbehaving...we won't say any names..*winks, but these sisters were able to be bailed out just in time, right before the night was over! Whew, some of you were cutting it kind of close though lol

********************************************

You had to get your passport ready, and pack some beach wear for this next event! A weekend in Barbados.!! I particularly enjoyed this event because I was able to role play! lol Yes indeed officer Reece was there to make sure all guests were on their best behavior. Everyone behaved and had a blast! Although it would of been nice to use my handcuffs! *winks* The highlight of the Weekend was of course the Pretty in Purple tour! When i tell you these ladies rocked...well you had to be there. *smiles* Here are a few highlights from the event.

Our final event for relay for life was the Bald  and Beautiful Gala. This event in particular touched me personally because I recently lost a friend on Second life who had been battling cancer. She passed days before the event so I felt I had to really make the effort to be there. When I tell you I seen some really bald and beautiful people there....well again you had to be there to experience the beauty of the event! The poems, and special words, songs, were all very touching and heart felt.
