For Black History Month, Eta Sigma Delta Inc is highlighting some of our black owned businesses on the grid. These business leaders have been seen working very hard at what they do and showing everyone that they can and will do it. We want to recognize them for their hard work and dedication to their crafts.
These businesses have made a positive impact to the community rather it was by recognizing their dedicated customers, giving out group gifts, joining into conversations with their customers on Facebook or just by giving great customer service. We want to say thank you for letting us into your world and we commend you for your hard work and focus.

Our ninth business is POSH Interior Designs SL!
POSH Interior Designs SL is an interior design company that was established in January 2015. They specialize in making your virtual Second Life house look and feel like a home!~Two time SL Source Awards Winner - Best Urban SL Business 2019 and 2020.
About the owner, Chele LaCroix
POSH Interior Designs SL have been in business for 5 1/2 years.
We asked Chele a couple of questions and here is what she had to say...
Do you find it is harder for you being a black owned business and specifically if a lot of what you design, creative or put together caters more to black people?
- "No I do not."
What makes doing what you do rewarding for you?
- " The joy, excitement, and feedback get from clients is amazing and pushed me to continuously get better at my craft."
Typically how long does it take you to get 1 item out?
- "3-5 SL business hour days depending on the project"
What advice can you give to other black entrepreneurs trying to start their SL business?
- "Stay true to yourself. Compare yourself to no one. Copy no one- be just who you are. Be firm, but fair, with your business practices. Know your worth!"
What would you like to say to all of your supporters and customers?
- "There are not enough words to thank my clients for who they are and what they do for me and my business. Your love and support over the years has been amazing! To all of our new and old clients, thank you for believing in us and for allowing us to be a part of your SL world!"
