These series of events are in a effort to raise money for Sickle Cell Disease Association of America. This is a disease that directly affects my real life, I see it and I live it!

Since 2013, Alpha Kai Delta Sorority & Gamma Nu Theta Fraternity have sponsored an SL Haunted Halloween Cruise to raise breast cancer awareness. The cruise and other events/excursions take over 4 days and 3 nights on 2 full sims. During the past 6 years, with the help of our sponsors/partners, we were able to raise over $2500 USD for the Look Good Feel Better Program.
Last year more 350 avatars participated in our fund-raising efforts . our cruise and events over 4 days & 3 nights. All sponsors receive radio shout-outs and having their logos/brand prominently displayed as a corporate sponsor of such a meaningful cause. They are also listed and identified as featured event sponsors for specific parties and excursions.
WHAT IS LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER?
Look Good Feel Better is a non-medical, brand-neutral public service program that teaches beauty techniques to people with cancer to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. The program includes lessons on skin and nail care, cosmetics, wigs and turbans, accessories and styling, helping people with cancer to find some normalcy in a life that is by no means normal. Sacred Heart Medical University SL was founded on April 26, 2018 when Dr. Destiny Joffer-Davis (Founder and physician @ Family Luv Medical Center) enthusiastically decided to give in to the many requests for her teachings, and formed a school of her own. With this school she wanted to make sure she gave her students not only the knowledge of Second Life to become a great physician, but also real life learning to give their patients the most realistic experience possible. This has since become a great challenge and a great experience for her.
